Lina T. has come out with some good training and a very helpful tool to make content creation much easier. Her Content Outsource Blueprint reveals her method for finding writers to outsource her content creation for short reports and Kindle books.

What I think is really great about this training is the Outline Generator she includes. You type in a few keywords about your subject, and an outline that you can use to create a great book, report or product is generator for you. It’s a great way to generate your own content or hand it off to an outsourcer. I’ve been playing around with it and it’s a very helpful tool.

I’ve often stressed the importance of having a blog or website for your books you publish on the Kindle or on other platforms.  With a website, you can provide a link in the back of your books where people can visit and see your other books, see more book recommendations, etc. However, it can be complicated and time consuming to setup a site properly.

Lina T, who is always coming up with some great Kindle applications, has just released a new web-based application that creates fantastic-looking landing pages for your books, called the Kindle Monetization Kit. This is a great tool. You login to the application online, input your information, and it creates a website you can upload. Very easy to use.  I would like to see a place to put in an autoresponder form, but Lina is very open to suggestions and will often include updates.

I had a chance to review this course, and with Creative Fiction Writing, Michelle provides solid training on writing fiction. If you’ve ever wanted to write fiction, but were too intimidated, or weren’t happy with your efforts, this course is for you.

I’ve been writing various forms of fiction over the years, but non-fiction comes much easier to me. In fact, I haven’t published any of my fiction yet to the Kindle because I want it to be better. I am picky, and if you’ve ever seen the movie Amadeus, I often feel like Salieri when it comes to writing fiction. I’m looking forward to accessing this material for my own fiction writing.

Michelle’s training helps will help you bridge the gap between skill and desire, and create compelling and marketable fiction. She covers the skills you need in easy-to-follow modules, and incorporates both video training and PDF’s. The training is setup in a way where you can follow the video lessons and then have the pdfs to refer to for later study.

The modules cover the different elements of fiction such as plot and character development. One of the areas that Michelle covers, which I think is incredibly powerful, is using myths, symbols and the hero’s journey to create powerful stories.

This material is easily accessible, but also packs in a lot of information and is structured in such a way where you can easily return to it again and again as you are writing.

I spend a lot of time discussing hot non-fiction niches, but there are niches that are more popular than others in the fiction category as well. J Bold has come out with a new training called Blazing Hot Kindle Krusher where he reveals hot, mostly fiction niches where you can get into the best selling categories easier. I had a chance to review this course, which is a mixture of PDF and video training.

I liked how he really dug down and analyzed the various Kindle categories and showed areas that were contained popular books but had less competition than some of the broader categories. In addition, he also shares his take on what niches to avoid. Another great aspect of this course is the case studies and interviews with authors he includes so you can go behind the scenes.

Today I wanted to share with you a technique I have used in the past with good results, and now plan to ramp up even more with this great training.

You may have heard that press releases are a great way to promote your books. And that’s true. But it can be difficult to know how and where to submit your press releases for maximum effect.

I had a chance to preview Dan Page and Sam England’s new guide Search Engine Caffeine. They show you step by step how to write and submit your press release so it will be seen by highly visible in the search engines, and in many cases, listed as number one for a period of time in Google news.

I don’t want this to sound hypey, as I know that can often be the case with traffic methods and claims, but this guide is really detailed and easy to follow.

First of all, Dan provides a complete break down of where and how to submit your press release, including visual instructions with screenshots. In addition, he focuses on the important aspects of what will make your press release successful, and what to avoid. This allows you to easily outsource your release or write it yourself.

Dan also shows video ranking proof of an actual press release that was submitted. You see high rankings in Google News, Google, Yahoo, and Bing.

Press releases done properly are a great way to give a boost to your Kindle publishing. Even if you write fiction, you can always find a newsworthy aspect of your story. They also allow you to drive traffic back to your blog and allow you to build your email list.
